It was hard to tell what saw you have by he photo - is that a B & D or a Rigid?

When I moved up to a better saw because my last one (Rockwell) crapped out I was amazed with the difference. The recuperating ability plus the higher quality DeWalt blades allowed me to cut straight and effortlessly. If you haven't tried them, the DeWalt blades that are thicker and harder than cheap blades make an enormous difference in a straight cut. Use a length of wood for a guide. Try the thicker better quality blades. I wouldn't have believed it myself but since I got a few with my saw, I used them and was overwhelmed with the difference.
