I started building the Sonnet On March 10 by cutting out the plywood forms for the skinning frame. That said I did not do much more until April 1 when I took over the side of the garage my wife uses and began assembling a strongback. I launched the kayak last Thursday evening May 8. So total build time was in the 5 week range. This was my first experience building a boat without using a kit. I previously built a S&G Kayak and a S&G canoe.
