i belive the plans in the book are for a cape charles not a chesapeake.still a good boat i've paddled both .
: My question, what do I get extra in the plans that I don't get in the book?
: Are the plans full size (just need to trace), or more detailed?
i built my first boat (yare) from the book,then ordered plans for the ches. 17 the plans have more detail and full size bow,stearn,hatch,and cockpit drawings for the price they are well worth it
