while glassing the deck of my spring run this weekend i got to thinking about fillets. if glass cloth wets out clear would chopped glass as a filler not wet out clear as well? i would rather not have a big yellow fillet between the cockpit reccess and riser.
here's another thought....has anyone tried a "cant strip" between the reccess and riser? this could be, say, a 1/4x1/4 strip cut diagonally to create a 45 degree angle, steam bent, epoxied in place, glassed over. any thoughts??
