: I've used both tape and block butt joints. The tape does cause discoloration.

Hi Mihke ( ahhh.... memories! )

I'm using 4mm ply and I don't think I've got anything thin enough to make that cut. Sure would be nice though. I know it wouldn't take much of a cut, depth wise, to get the strength back, especially with resin/glue. But, alas, I will have to stick to either the glass or ply doubler. Thanks for the tip, and what size blade would that be on that shaper/router table??
