One question is answered:

: 1. Would there be a better/easier way to secure
: the ribs to the stringers? (Than cable ties)

And the answer is . . . YES! Probably any method other than cable ties would be superior (maybe even bubble gum). Cabe ties were waaaay too wimpy.

I'm going to work with bolts, washers and wing nuts now. It looks like a much better way to go.
