I'm down to the wire with my guillemot expedition. I was wondering about some methods to attach the cockpit coaming. I am currently soaking the 1/8" cedar in a gutter to get it to flex a bit more...and it's working. I wrapped the coaming with a 1/8"x3/4" strip and clamped the heck out of it. I'm letting it dry to shape, so that I can epoxy the strip to the vertical strips. I've already glassed both the inside and outside of the vertical area, so I'm thinking that I will epoxy the 1st strip. Should I allow the strips to dry one at a time in order to give a good gluing surface? Epoxy or wood glue for the remaining strips?
