Wondering if any of you have experience using standard masking tape to cover a mold prior to fiberglassing.

How bad does the glass/epoxy stick to the tape, will it release?

I haven't been able to get plastic wrap to conform well enough without wrinkling badly and thought about just taping it off and glassing over it.

I suppose 2" wide clear plastic tape might do better.
