I built a Guillemont. Had never built a kayak before, although I had built a strip Canoe (Hiawatha from Bear Mtn).

: 2. How long (estimate) does it take to build it?

It took me nine months of nights and small bits on the weekend. I have a full time job, a wife, and 3 year old, and so time was hard to come by. I think I could have done it in four months absent the above.

: 3. What is the (approximate) total building cost?

I spent about $600.00. I made my own strips, and had all the tools already.

: 4. Any pictures (of these designs) of your finished project?

There are lots of them if you just search this board for pics. (I don;t have a digital camera or scanner)
