: Has anybody ever tried that liquid rubber for bungie cord ends. It's used
: mainly for putting new grips on pliers and such. They call it Dip It or
: Rubberize It. I was thinking of tieing my figure eight and or the bungie
: knot, burning the ends and then dipping the entire knot. Any reasons not

Dipping the end should pose no problem, but I'd be hesitant to dip any structural part of the bungee (i.e., the knot), as the solvents in Plasti-Dip are not likely to be kind to the rubber in the cord.
