I can finally post some photos of my Chesapeake LT18. Thanks to everyone on this board for encouragement, inspiration, & information.

Her name is Amayehi, which is a benificent water spirit from Cherokee mythology.

No varnish, and I plan to put some paint on the bottom to help with visibility in case of capsize. The deck rigging is temporarily installed since I do not like to paddle a naked boat.

This one is preparing for the first launch. The LT18 is certainly not too big a boat for me.
