: I will set it up and check it out sometime. I am thinking the one to one
: ratio wouldn't reach far enough from the tracer to the cutter to reach the
: other paddle you are cutting but I might be wrong.
I'm thinking you could mount the original paddle and the wood blank to a "tray', which is just a strip of 3/4 plywood about 12-18 inches wide and 8 feet long, keeping the two items parallel. The router mounted on the pantograph is bolted to your workbench and the "tray" of original and wod blank are worked on in sections. Do a foot of paddle length and then slide the whole assembly down a foot. As long as the two pieces stay locked in alignment you should be able to cut an unlimited length.
You may need to mount a strip of wood to your worktop as a fence so you have a fixed line to slide the tray past.
Paddles being about 4 to 8 inchs wide you should have enough reach over the width with the pantograph, otherwise, do half and slide the 'tray' so you can do more.

Paul G. Jacobson -- 10/26/2001, 11:01 pm- The width reach could be the problem with 1 to 1.
