: How heavy did you load that batch, Bill?

It was very precise :-) After mixing up a small margerine tub of epoxy, I dipped a piece of wood strip into the dye and pulled a small glob out, probably about half a thimble full. The pigment is very thick and gooey, like molasses that's been in the freezer. It took a lot of action to mix it completely into the epoxy. To be honest, black is probably the easiest color to get opaque. Still, I was very impressed with how little was required. I really wouldn't recommend wetting out cloth with it because it is dark enough that you can't tell if there are bubbles under the glass. It would be better to use it for an initial saturation coat on the wood and then fill later. I'll probably try it on the insides of one of my Returns, if and when I get to that stage :-)
