: It was very precise :-) After mixing up a small margerine tub of epoxy, I
: dipped a piece of wood strip into the dye and pulled a small glob out,
: probably about half a thimble full. The pigment is very thick and gooey,
: like molasses that's been in the freezer. It took a lot of action to mix
: it completely into the epoxy. To be honest, black is probably the easiest
: color to get opaque. Still, I was very impressed with how little was
: required. I really wouldn't recommend wetting out cloth with it because it
: is dark enough that you can't tell if there are bubbles under the glass.
: It would be better to use it for an initial saturation coat on the wood
: and then fill later. I'll probably try it on the insides of one of my
: Returns, if and when I get to that stage :-)

I have had the same results with System Three black pigment. Very little is required to make epoxy opaque.
