What distance are you racing?

Are you looking for something for 1000m sprints, or longer distances?

Are your races organized with some affiliating body that sets limits on boat sizes?
You mentioned you were up for anything, including strip built and S&G, but what about skin-on-frame? What are your feelings on making a baidarka?

Oh, and you know that there are races for concrete kayaks too. :)
