Do you mind sharing how you built them? Any pictures? I'm seeing something
with a drop open lid on hinges and a simple turning latch, top and bottom lined with gaskets, maybe even a foam interior carved to fit the shape of the binoculars.

: Patsy, my kayak was wider then most and I was able to built in two water
: tight side compartments that stayed completely dry for my field glasses,
: camera and radio.
