Hi Brad, that was happening to me so I went back with hot melt glue and it pretty much took care of the problem. Start with the center mold and work your way out. The gap will begin closing before you are done. It's not worth prying the strips away to get glue under them because you will risk breaking the other hot melt joints - in that case I put a bead of glue along both sides and keep moving. I'm about 2/3 done stripping the hull. I go back and apply the hot melt every 2 or 3 strips.

You'll get a different grab depending on the edge-treatment of your mold. I'm using a fairly slippery packing tape so the hot melt tends to pop off unless I'm careful. Good luck with it.
