Capitol City Hardwoods in Raleigh has a good wood selection. It is right over by the state fairgrounds. I have always had good luck there. There is so much development around here (Durham) and the narrow-minded developers clear cut so many trees you'd think they would be giving wood away. Unfortunately, it is all pine. Oh well.
