Charlie,
Sounds like you'll fit right in. We've all got too many projects going.
You mentioned building a Weekender. There has been some interrest on this sight for the Weekender or Vacationer. I've listed below a link to the Back Yard Yacht Builder BBS. Can you give us an impression of what you think of the Weekender?
