This is what my whole hull bottom is like. Mostly scratches that aren't too deep and can be sanded smooth I think, or smooth enough to build up epoxy and then sand smooth. It would seem to me that you would have to do plenty of sanding to besure you have the varnish removed befor spot epoxying because you really wouldn't know when the varnish was completely removed. I can find no dammage that goes to the wood. Thanks for you advise Julie and any advise from others.
