Oh, I'm sure. This time, I was just trying to cheat since I was already in shallow & calm water. Sloppy technique had put the paddle against the bottom, so rather than setting back up and doing it right, I just tried to lever up. Definitely not the right way to roll!

I usually do a fairly broad sweep roll, rather than the abrupt C-C style, so when I do things right there really isn't that much force on the paddle.
