The painted hull really is a nice look on your Guillemot and sets it apart from other stripped boats. That took guts to do. My hat's off to you.

: Hi-

: A photo of my recently completed Guillemot. I decided to paint the hull
: white, just to be different. I am very happy with the way it turned out.
: It still needs the to get the toggles made and installed, and still leaks a
: bit...
: I have more pictures and another album of kayak photos at:

: Love the boat, and have been having a lot of fun paddling it. It will fill
: the niche of a day boat. Decided not to put in a front hatch because I
: love the lines of the front deck. I put in a bulkhead with an open middle
: section so I could use a float bag. The bulkhead also serves as my
: footrests. Very snug boat, gives great control. I think deck lines are
: essential in a kayak and also are aesthetically pleasing. The strap in the
: front is a paddle park: some tubular webbing with a piece of bungee in it
: to maintain it's shape.

: This BBS is the best! - keep up the good work!
