I wouldn't worry too much about us, as we are doing it just to make checking our list that much easier. I click on them just to get them off the unread list so I can scroll down and read anything that is still in the Blue, unread list. If I don't want to read some of the posts that don't concern me or interest me, I click on them, and then " back ", just to get rid of them. When I come in to check the board, there are NOTHING but unread, new messages and I can quickly scroll down to anything that's blue and stop. If I don't click on the NM messages and get them off the list, then I'm always stopping to see what they are only to find that it's something I've already seen. Even Nick's new feature that lists them as already read doesn't take them out of the blue color and when scrolling down, they still catch the eye and cause me to stop.

It's just getting rid of an annouyance, and nothing more. Not something that you would get any intertainment value out of I'm sure. Nothing scientific about it just another way of doing things. Hope that helps!! But, if you insist, you may put my name at the top of that list. I'm at the top of sooooo many others already.
