It has to be a waterproof glue, epoxy works, or a polyurathane glue such as Gorilla glue or Titebond II also work well. If using a poly glue, buy a small bottle since it has a shelf life, and make sure to wear gloves when you are working with it. It doesn't want to come off skin very well.

: ash onto the ends of cedar and carving a greenland paddle, what kind of glue
: should I use? I haven't built any boats yet so don't have any extra epoxy
: laying around. (If that's even the proper thing to use.)
