: What situation demands cabosil instead of sawdust for thickening? Thanks
CABOSIL, WHEN MIXED WITH EPOXY IS CLEAR TO MILKY WHITE IN COLOR.
WOOD FILLER, TENDS TO BE DARKER IN COLOR WHEN MIXED WITH EPOXY. WRC DUST ALMOST TURNS DARK BROWN AND NWC DUST TURNS VERY DARK AS WELL.
AS FAR AS ADHESION, I THINK THEY BOTH GIVE SIMILAR RESULTS.
WHEN IN DOUBT, ITS BEST TO TEST.
