There is a distinct difference in texture and the ease with which smooth fillets may be obtained (cabosil is smoother). I also use cabosil and sawdust combined to lighten the shade of filler when trying to match the woodgrain color.
: What situation demands cabosil instead of sawdust for thickening? Thanks
