Dean,

The last issue of Epoxy Works that I saw had a suggestion of using pool noodles to roll the glass onto. The author noted that it was easier to follow contours than with a ridged roll, such as PVC. Years ago, I used the roll-on-epoxy-first method to put a 2 oz. layer on a 26 ft sailboat hull. With two helpers it was a piece of cake - two holding the cloth and one smoothing it out with a squeegee - just like putting a decal on.
