Hi Rehd. Thanks for the advise on the tablesaw tuneup. The belt has a flat spot on it, so needs replacing. I think that a link belt for Lee Valley will be my next purchase. My blades are Freud carbides thin kerf. I cut a lot of cedar that has come form a saywer that is located in a sandy area and that causes my blades to dull. I inspect the blades with a loop before I send them out for sharpening. There were a lot of very small chips in the blade. I will use Easy Off to clean the pitch off the blades. That was a good idea, thanks. My saw is five years old now and still performs all the duties I need it to. My next saw will be a Delta Unisaw. My shop is 60 x 28 so I think I can fit that in there somewhere. But for that I need to sell a kayak or two to afford the saw. Now for my next project...........
