Tools: Any Makita tools out there need repair?

I just took a busted tool into the factory Makita store in Kent, WA. Discovered to my amazement that labor is FREE on all tool repairs until the end of the year! Yeehaw! No charge for estimates, parts and tax only on the final bill. Don't know for sure, but this may be a national promotion.
