I've made it a policy to not mess with the code of the BBS software. If I made a really cool change and then the developer released a new version with cool features I would have to mess with the new stuff as well. Besides, although I've done some perl coding, I would rather be a kayak designer/builder than a programmer. I'll let the experts do the job. I've made the suggestion to the developer. If he chooses to implement it, great, otherwise, oh-well.
