That sounds right to me. You had to get past the absolutely perfect mirror-smooth polyurethane finish, and close your eyes to the perfection of the fit of the numerous small inlaid peices.
I had a real problem with that
: I seem to remember Alaskan Yellow Cedar and Walnut, but you know how reliable
