Strip: North Star form modification

I am looking for information for coverting the North Star frame from a strongback design to a beam design. Has anybody done this mod? Just finishing of the final planking of a Cape Ann Expedition and will be glassing soon. Want to start the Baidarka so both kayaks will be ready for a spring launch. Thanks Erich.
