Emma, aren't those boats more suited to the 175lb paddler PLUS gear? Unless you've got 50lbs of stuff in them all the time you're just going to be moving lots of boat around. I'm not up on all the strip boats out there but I'd suggest looking at much smaller kayaks. What production boats are you familiar with that you like?
