The CLC cambered decks do not require any mechanical fasteners after the epoxy is set. The purpose of the brads supplied with the kits is to hold the deck down while the epoxy hardens.
I think one of their demo boats had the deck glued down and fastened with pan-head screws. Once the epoxy was hard, the screws were removed. Then they bored hole where each screw had been and inserted a piece of dowel in a contrasting color. They sanded the dowels off flush and it looked great.
