Just wanted to put my 2cents in.

I like the new format. I think it would be better if you could bring the message content up in the 'message frame'. Perhaps removing the navigation/responce link at the top. move the poster's name to the bottom. That would make it a bit better in my opinion.

this would reduce have to scroll down on the short messages, and stay in the 'thread frame' above, and allow me to keep a smaller message window.

Hope I'm not repeating somthing already said. I've not read this tread.
