forgot to add.... I screwed the deckbeam on and protected the sheer clamps from glue by covering them with plastic. That way I can gently remove the deck and turn it over to apply the epoxy and fiberglass. I will also be installing a rudder and some flotation stuff before I permanently install the deck.

Any suggestions on flotation stuff? I was thinking of cutting up a few of those long tube floaters that are quite common with kids these days.
