: hello all.

: I am considering subscribing on sea kayaker mag,

: I visited their website and realised that they mail the issues
: by ground.

: anybody here lives out of the usa and subscribed on sk ?

: they say it takes 8 weeks or so to arrive.
: I wonder if it really goes that slow ?

: they charge extra 30$ per year for air mail,
: so I want to know if it's really necessary to pay that extra charge
: for air mail ?

: any info appreciated,

: Erez

Hi Erez

Paul is right, everything that travels outside the States goes by air with the exception of some parcels of lower rates. By ship, it is still 30 days or so. Although the first couple of weeks after the Attacks they were refusing to take anything from the Postal Service on aircraft. It may still take a bit longer than it used to as there is just less air travel these days.

Do as Paul has and just order it surface mail if that is an option. It will travel by ground from one city here to another, but fly overseas. Then at the other end, it belongs to your postal service. Good Luck!
