Wild. I always wonder how I'd react to a situation like that. Most likely the same way, I'd do what I could without thinking about it.
Then when I found out the whole story, I'd be tempted to throw him back in the river
: Thought I'd share this,as the chances are it won't make the news South of the
: border. Tonight, a man in Montreal drove his SUV into the St. Lawrence,
: intending to kill himself and his two daughters. The older daughter swam
: back to shore, and the man and his younger daughter ended up standing on a
: rock, chest deep in the freezing water. The firefighters were unable to
: get a line to them, and were waiting for a rescue boat, when some people
: who lived nearby called on Fanny Rousseau, a massage therapist and
: kayaker. She put her kayak in the water, and got to the pair with a
: towline and pulled them back to shore. I saw the clips on CTV tonight. It
: was cold and dark, and that water was moving awfully fast. Fanny says she
: doesn't feel like a hero.
: Father is on his way to jail after he gets out of hospital, and both
: daughters are doing fine.
