If you really want oiled finish, here is the web site for a product that got a sterling review in on of the woodworker magazines this month. Reviewer liked everything about it, most especially the lack of toxic chemicals that are put into "boiled" linseed oil. I gather it is scheaper to chemically "boil" the linseed oil than to actually boil it.
