Hi, I have a SEDA VIKING model ocean kayak, which will not navigate on a straight course, I have to correct often, and I have opted to store it away.

I am know looking for someone who KNOWS, why this is happening and who can help me fix it. This kayak was beaten against some rocks, and ever since the repairs were done, the boat will not travel in a straight comfortable line.

If it was over worked with patching material heavier on one side, will this have an effect on navigation?
how can i tell for sure if this is the case, what type of measurements can I use to make sure that the weight is even in each half of the hull?

If the center of gravity of the seat is wrong will this miss-balance the weight and therefore affect navigation?
