that your tale will strike a chord with most of us who have glassed a hull in the past. I'm sure that there are many many similar tales to be told. I once glassed 6 feet of side deck on a 35 foot trimaran, with no hardner in the epoxy. My wife was mixing for me and kinda forgot a step. 
Sounds as if it all worked out in the end- but---- Were the pants stuck to the floor also?
