I use four hooks under the hatch, and adjustable length bungees inside the hull. It's a good arrangement, and it's not hard to open. I did have to add pull straps to the hatched though - the finger divot was not enough grip to open them after the air has cooled inside.

They do leak just a few drops, and tightening the bungees helps. I loosen them up for travel, and store it with the hatched off.
