: Hi everyone,

: I am debating if I should use an individual bungee loop for each of the four
: hooks (hatch side) for the internal bungee hatch hold down. Alternatively
: I could use two bungee loops which go around two hooks (hatch) each. The
: first option has higher hold down strength, but may be harder to open. In
: addition it provides more safety in case one mount comes off. The second
: option requires only lifting the bungee of one hook. The getting the
: bungee off the second hook is much easier.

: Any thoughts from people using this system actively?

: Thanks in advance - Andreas

I used a single loop over two hooks on each side. Working fine so far. You can "adjust" the tension a little from one hook to the other if needed, it helps to keep the hatch aligned in the opening. I have a fairly tight notch in the hooks so the bungee stays generally where I put it. I use a short loop of webbing sticking out to pull open the hatch. I don't think you need a huge amount of force to stick the hatches tight if things fit together well.
