Reviewing a copy of "his" notes, he mentions Style 120 3.2 oz E-glass 4HS (4 harness satin) and a Style 1581 8.7 oz 8HS satin. I've only seen a 3.2 8HS on the Raka site. But if it works - great!! I am working up some small test panels with 2.2 kevlar and 3.2 4HS satin E-glass in combination with 3 and 4 mm panels. Chris

: This is the glass that was promoted by "the person who can only be
: referred to here as G.R." In private correspondence with him, he
: indicated that it lays well and wets out fine. He typically applied 2-3
: layers at the same time by rolling epoxy on the bare (sealed) hull, laying
: the first layer, rolling on additional epoxy, laying the second layer,
: then laying the third layer without additional epoxy. The excess from the
: first two layers wets out the third.

: This produces a reasonably light, tough and flexible layup.
