I have just enterred this thread. I guess you have been told that Johnson's Paste Wax makes a good mold realease? I believe that JPW is a carnauba wax. This type is sold at auto stores. I use a Meguiars carnauba wax on my car. Meguiars also sells mold release waxes (Mirror Glaze #8 is one). I think that these are carnauba-based with additives to make them suitable for high-temperature cures. A good mold release is Poly-vinyl-alcohol (PVA). Most arts/crafts stores should have this.
