Hi,
why don´t you tab in between the stiches and remove all the wire once the epoxi has set. Just filling the seams is enough to keep the panels in place, after removing the wires you can do a nice filleting job.
I did the guillemot s&g that way and had in that respect no problems, but "a few" in other respects.
