I used Dyson's 13 ounce polyester and urethane on my boat. The two downsides to this particular fabric are price ($6.00/linear foot - it's 80" wide) and low stretch/shrinkage, which means it must be pulled very tight.

He also sell a 9 ounce polyester that's similar but thinner. At $2.00/linear foot, it's 1/3 the price and it's only 60" wide, so there's less waste. Harvey Golden loves the stuff and I plan to use it on my next skin boat.
