: I am looking for ideas on building a set of adjustable foot braces. I have
: used the adjustable bulkhead type that is in Nick's book, but I didn't
: like the adjuster being on the floor. I guess I'm a little picky, but it
: would be much easier to sponge up/clean up if the floor were clear of
: obstacles. Also, it interferes with setting my beverage bottle/can sqarely
: on the floor in front of me
: I seem to recall seeing that someone had made adjustable sliders out of
: electrical pvc, but can't locate that info.
: If anyone has a source or experience with an acceptable method, the info
: would be greatly appreciated
Tom:
I to have a foot rest as in Nicks book. It is comfortable but a bit wobbly.
and I found it hard to pull it up tight.
I've been thinking of a bridge spanning from one foot peg to the other.Perhaps out of PVC or stiff plastic. This would mean adjusting both pegs at the same time but your feet could brace anywhere on the 'bridge'.
Just a thought. hope to hear other ideas.
