: A hanging shelf with a plastic curtain is a great idea, John.
: How were you thinking of hanging the shelf? If you keep the shelf rididly
: Didn't Rehd do something similar with his Strohngbench?
: Shawn
I see Rehd's picture of his strong back is posted now and is really heavy duty. I glued up my tool shelf yesterday and I will just lightly attach it to my strongback so I can quickly take it off so as to carry the unit (kayak-strongback) out into the driveway and sunlight to work in nice weather, then reatach the shelf. I want to be better orgaized building this boat then I was on the last one. I priced electrical strips yesterday and I may put three of them on the side of the strongback instead of electrical outlets. I could do that for less then $10, total. Your electrical idea will make my life a lot easier.
John
: Personally, I'm not too messy with glue, but I get shavings and sawdust
: everywhere[/]!! The same idea would work with my sketch if you simply
: stapled the plastic over the strongback before mounting the stations.
: attached to the strongback, you'll have the benefit of its great lateral
: stiffness.
