I would love to have a great shop somewhere near home but not in my garage where I could go and build a boat over 6 months and only have to pay for the space while I needed it. Perhaps a place where other boatbuilders also worked so you could borrow tools from one another and share ideas as needed.

I was thinking that it would be a great thing to find a co-op or club that would allow a guy to get some shop space in a nice facility with good lighting, electrical and maybe dust collection and "tools for loan". Just a shop club that would be a good place to build a boat.

Has anyone heard of such a place in the greater Seattle area?
